The UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has received an inquiry into the issue. In a nutshell, the issue is: "Viagra" - which is a medicine that's available to men, specifically those over the age of 50 - has been around for more than 30 years.
In short, Viagra is a prescription medicine - the brand name for the drug sildenafil, it's used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. In the UK, the generic version is not approved by the MHRA - it's called.
But Viagra is actually approved to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension - a condition that causes your blood pressure to fall. This increases your heart rate and blood flow. It's the same thing with heart disease. This is the main reason why it's usually prescribed to patients who have a condition called angina (chest pain).
You can see an accompanying story on.
So, what does Viagra do? Well, it treats ED by relaxing the muscles around the blood vessels in the heart. This allows blood to flow into your lungs and can reduce your workload. It also increases the flow of oxygen and blood to your heart.
So, it's a little bit of both:
Viagra is also very convenient - it's easy to take if you're in a room with a large screen. You can take it when you're ready to have sex, but it's not for everyone.
Viagra is available in tablet form, and you can buy it online in a range of dosages, which means it's available in a wide variety of strengths - for a cost range that's even larger than you can get in. If you're looking for the best price, you can purchase it from a pharmacy.

The move comes amid calls for generic competition and competition among medical products.
Healthcare officials have said the move will not result in a switch to a different drug.
"This is not about generic Viagra," said Dr. Steven Zook, a cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic.
"It is about making sure that the products are used by patients who need them. That's what we're trying to get."
The move comes after a study found that Viagra, used to treat erectile dysfunction in men, may not work as well for patients taking other medications.
Viagra's active ingredient is sildenafil, which is also found in Pfizer's Cialis and Adcirca.
The drug was first approved for marketing in 1998 and has since been pulled from the market, Zook said.
The move comes after the Food and Drug Administration rejected the drug twice, first in May and again last month.
Viagra, a blue-velvet-shaped blue pill, is available as a generic drug as well as a brand-name medication, the company said.
In its letter to the FDA, the company cited "an abundance of data from studies indicating that sildenafil significantly improves erectile function in men with coronary artery disease."
Pfizer, which makes Cialis, has been trying to develop new versions of sildenafil in response to growing concerns about the safety of the drug, Zook said.
Pfizer's new version is called Revatio, which contains the same active ingredient as Viagra but comes in a lower dose and is taken once daily.
Patients will still be able to get their prescription to use the medication, the company said.
Patients will still need a prescription to buy Revatio, the company said.
"We believe that the new version will be more effective than the branded product and that it will be less likely to cause serious adverse events," said Dr. John R. Smith, the company's director of worldwide drug development.
"We think that this is a very important move, and we hope that the FDA will revisit that decision soon."
